Access & Transport

The Matmut ATLANTIQUE is located on the left bank, at the heart of the Bordeaux-Lac district. Contributing to the neighborhood’s rise, the presence of free parking, public transport services and hotel facilities all within 5 minutes of the venue bring many advantages to the site. Courtyards open year-round as well as an activities village accessible 2 hours prior to the start of the event welcome you no matter what your mean of transportation may be.

On event nights, all of the 6,000 parking spaces found at the Fair Grounds will be reserved for the spectators of the Matmut ATLANTIQUE. Between the Floral Park and the North Stand, 1,500 spaces will welcome VIP guests, persons with disabilities, visitors and the media. In total, more than 8,500 free parking spaces are available only a few steps away from the new venue.

Two exits on the Bordeaux rocade (4A/4C). Five parkings (8,000 spaces in total): the Fair Grounds parking (6,000 spaces), the VIP/Media parking (1,250 spaces), the bicycle/motorbike parking (1,250 spaces), the Aubiers parking (246 spaces) and the Brandenburg parking (206 spaces).

The train station of Bordeaux-Saint-Jean, known as Gare Saint-Jean, in Bordeaux, is the largest train station in the Aquitaine region, 3 hrs from Paris, travel time which is supposed to be shortened to roughly 2 hrs with the new LGV Sud Europe Atlantique line planned for 2017.
The trains arriving at the station come from or are going to Spain and cities like Arcachon, Toulouse, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg, Lille, Nantes and Nice. Connections with Bergerac, Périgueux, Angoulême, Agen, Pau, Libourne, La Rochelle, Limoges and Poitiers are frequent
