An exceptional visit to Bordeaux's New Stadium

A ministerial visit!

Early this afternoon at Bordeaux's New Stadium, Prime Minister Manuel VALLS, accompanied by Alain JUPPE, Mayor of Bordeaux, Patrick KANNER, Minister for Cities, Youth and Sport, and Thierry BRAILLARD, Secretary of State for Sport, visited Bordeaux's new stadium following the EURO 2016 Steering Committee press conference.

The visit was also attended by Jean-Louis TRIAUD, Chairman of the Girondins de Bordeaux Football Club (FCGB) and Nicolas De TAVERNOST, Chairman of the Board of M6, and was led by Dominique FONDACCI, Chairman of the Stade Bordeaux Atlantique (SBA), Marc GUERPIN, Director of the New Bordeaux Stadium project, and Thierry GUICHARD, Project Director for the City of Bordeaux.

A large number of journalists were on hand for the site visit, and the project is still on schedule. Benefiting from optimal weather conditions over the last few months, the first sports facilities have already been installed.
