A ministerial visit
Early this afternoon at Bordeaux's New Stadium, Prime Minister Manuel VALLS, accompanied by Alain JUPPE, Mayor of Bordeaux, Patrick KANNER, Minister for the City, Youth and Sports, and Thierry BRAILLARD, Secretary of State for Sport, visited Bordeaux's New Stadium following the EURO 2016 Steering Committee press conference.

The visit was also attended by Jean-Louis TRIAUD, President of the Girondins de Bordeaux Football Club (FCGB) and Nicolas De TAVERNOST, Chairman of the Board of M6, and was orchestrated by Dominique FONDACCI, President of the Stade Bordeaux Atlantique (SBA) company, Marc GUERPIN, Director of the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux project, and Thierry GUICHARD, Project Director for the City of Bordeaux.
Numerous journalists were on hand for the site visit to the building, which is still on schedule to meet its predefined construction schedule. Benefiting from optimal weather conditions over the last few months, the first sports facilities have already been installed.
