Every year, the "Premiers de Cordée" association organises the Evasion Day, offering sick and/or disabled children and their families a day of sporting activities and discoveries outside medical and social structures.
The aim of this initiative is to open up new horizons for these young people by giving them the opportunity to discover outdoor activities and experience some very exciting moments.
Evasion Day in Bordeaux on Wednesday 15 May 2024
More than 500 children from various medical and social facilities, including hospitals, clinics and IMEs, are expected to take part in the day, accompanied by their families.
Course of the day :
- Sports discovery and initiation: From tennis and handball to football, dance and badminton. All the activities are supervised by qualified sports instructors, and over 50 volunteers work alongside the association to ensure that the day runs smoothly.
- Backstage tour of the Matmut ATLANTIQUE: From the players' corridor to the changing rooms, via the press conference room.
- Meet the athletes: Meetings with top athletes and personalities.
