Sport and Business: Innovation at Matmut ATLANTIQUE

Companies get involved in the values of sport!

Involving a trainer or sportsman or woman can motivate managers and employees and provide new keys to success for the company. An original and innovative motivational technique!

To this end, the Matmut ATLANTIQUE is launching a new activity never before offered in Bordeaux: the involvement of top sportsmen and women in company seminars, with the aim of offering our customers even more attractive new products and services. The Bordeaux stadium is not only a place of fervour and emotion, but also a unique source of expertise in event management.

"Ghislain De Drouas' career path, and in particular the steady rise in his level of skills, means that there is a clear link between the world of sport and that of business." Ghislain De Drouas, Sales Director for La Poste Group in the South-West of France, describes the visit of Matthew Clarkin, Captain of Union Bordeaux-Bègles, to the Matmut ATLANTIQUE at the beginning of January for an event attended by a large number of employees."

Why did you choose the Matmut ATLANTIQUE as the venue for your seminar?

"We wanted to hold our convention at a legendary venue in the city that was a symbol of innovation."

Why did you choose Matthew Clarkin to speak?

"His career path, and in particular the steady rise in his skill level, makes a clear link between the world of sport and that of business: managerial vision, individual mindset and personal investment are the keys to success."

In your opinion, what are the advantages of this type of intervention?

"It's not the manager who talks about his keys, but the top-level player. This echoes the managerial discourse. It's also an opportunity for the teams to listen to and exchange views with a rugby star."

What kind of feedback have you had from your staff?

"Delighted! And lots of souvenir photos were taken."
